Balmer Lawrie [BL] has been in existence since 1867 and has evolved overtime, establishing several milestones in the Corporate annals of the country. It was the first PSE to go global, and established the JV Balmer Lawrie – UAE. BL is an organisation which operates in a competitive space crowded by global players, in industries that are varied and disparate, The Company operates eight Strategic Business Units [SBUs], each a key player in the context of their respective market and are proud for being a Company that has been profit making throughout its history.

In recent times while the world was under the grip of the pandemic! Several SBUs of Blamer Lawrie have continued to support their customer and the nation, BL Travel team facilitated return of the Indians from COVID-19 effected countries to the safety of their homes, our Logistics Infrastructure, Cold Chain and Logistics Services businesses did not stop operations even for a day.

Employee Engagement Initiatives

An effective and employee centric work culture in the organization encourages participation, involvement of employees in activities beyond work and their alignment with the organisation. Towards furthering this, events and activities like annual sports day, indoor games, cultural evenings etc. are oragnised at major locations of the Company. Employees and their family members celebrate Foundation day in all units and establishments across the country every year in the month of February.
