MUMBAI CFS:

CFS Mumbai commenced operations in 1999 and is located within 19 kms of the JN Port [Nhavasheva] and connected with NSICT, JNPT, GTI terminals.With some noteworthy infrastructure like 6 45 MT reach stackers, RTG cranes, 24 reefer plug points and a 80 MT Weight Bridge, CSF Mumbai is the largest among the three CFSs area wise. It has 26 acres concreted / paver blocked floodlit yard, a fleet of 13 trailers owned and 150 trailers on long term contract for movement of containers, 100,000 sq.ft covered Warehouse with 33,000 sq. ft under construction and fully computerized sacilities.

CHENNAI CFS:

Specialises in handling ODC, CFS Chennai started operations in 2000 and is strategically located (12 kms from Chennai Port and 19 Kms from Ennore & Kattupalli Port). Like the others, CFS Chennai has a container tracking system using RFID through GPS & GPRS technology. There is fleet of 20 owned trailers and 100 trailers on long term contract for movement of containers along with a 40,000 sq ft covered Warehouse for Export and Import of cargo.

KOLKATA CFS:

CFS, Kolkata was established in 1994 and was the first CFS to be set up in the eastern region. A pioneer in EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) connectivity in the eastern region, the CFS is connected to Kolkata Dock System & Haldia Dock Complex and has a Merry-Go-Round facility with dedicated Rail siding with own Rail Flats. Specialized in handling ODC, CFS, Kolkata is strategically located (2.5 kms from Kolkata Dock), and has modern facilities to cater to the needs of the customer 24x7.

FULL CONTAINER LOAD (FCL) DELIVERY

  • Placement of empty trailer inside port.
  • Loading of load container at Port.
  • Transportation of load container to CFS.
  • Unloading and stacking inside CFS.
  • Loading of load container on Party’s vehicle after delivery.
  • Roll out of load container outside CFS.

DESTUFF AND DIRECT DELIVERY

  • Placement of empty trailer inside port.
  • Loading of load container at Port.
  • Transportation of load container to CFS.
  • Unloading and stacking inside CFS.
  • Destuffing of cargo and loading on Party’s vehicle.
  • Delivery of the cargo.
  • Pick-up and transportation of the empty container to Shipping agents parking slot.
  • Unloading the container and release of vehicle.

DESTUFFING, STORAGE & SUBSEQUENT DELIVERY

  • Placement of empty trailer inside port.
  • Loading of load container at Port.
  • Transportation of load container to CFS.

  • Pick-up and transportation of the empty container to Shipping agents parking slot.
  • Unloading the container and release of vehicle.
  • Loading the cargo on Party’s vehicle at a later date.
  • Delivery of the cargo.

RECEIVING AND STORAGE OF EXPORT CARGO.

  • Receipt of export cargo at CFS after customs permission.
  • Unloading of cargo from truck/trailer and stacking inside CFS.
  • Pick-up of empty container from Shipping agents slot.
  • Transportation to CFS and unloading.
  • Stuffing of cargo inside container and sealing.
  • Loading of load container on trailer.
  • Transportation to Port.
  • Unloading of load container inside port.

STUFFING OF CARGO FOR EXPORTS AND DELIVERY TO PORT

  • Pick-up of empty container from Shipping agents slot.
  • Transportation to CFS and unloading.
  • Receipt of export cargo at CFS.
  • Stuffing of cargo inside container and sealing.
  • Loading of load container on trailer.
  • Transportation to Port. Unloading of load container inside port.

ODC/OOG/REEFER CONTAINER HANDLING

  • Arrangement of low bed/semi low bed trailers as per requirement.
  • Transportation to CFS and unloading.
  • Handling of cargo through specialized cranes (heavy weight) for ODCs Plugging and monitoring of reefer containers

BREAK BULK CARGO HANDLING [IMPORT]

  • Placing of trailers at Port and receiving the cargo directly from Vessel hook point Transportation to CFS and unloading.
  • Storage of cargo in covered/open space Loading of cargo on trailer/truck after appraisement and completion of documentation formalities .
  • Roll out of loaded trailer/truck outside CFS.
